Abstract Submission

The AFLAS 2023 Congress organizing Committee cordially invites you to submit poster abstracts. All congress abstracts must be submitted online via the "Online Submission System” and will be reviewed by the Scientific Program Committee.
Abstract submission does not constitute registration for the congress and presenters are required to register for the conference separately. Please read the guidelines carefully before submitting your abstract.

Participants are advised to Abstract submission in advance within the deadline (by 23:59, Korea Standard Time, August 25, 2023).

Steps for Submission

1. Sign-up or Log in If you are already signed-up on this website, you can use the account for your abstract
   (Only PC)
2. Submit your abstract Fill out author and abstract information and save button.
3. Confirmation Letter After your abstract submission, a confirmation letter will be sent to you via e-mail.
4. My Page To review or modify your submitted abstracts, Visit ‘My Page’ until the submission deadline.
5. Acceptance Notification An acceptance
   Notification will be sent to you via e-mail.

Submission Guidelines

• Abstracts should be no more than 300 words. Word count only includes the text body of your abstract.
• All abstracts should be written in English.
• Authors may edit and modify submitted abstracts until the submission deadline. It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure the accuracy of the abstract. There will be no additional editing after the deadline.
• It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure that their text does not contain typos or grammatical errors.
• A confirmation of the receipt of abstract will be automatically sent to the submitter, presenting and corresponding author by e-mail upon completion of on-line submission. The contact details you provide must coincide with those of the presenting author and corresponding author, otherwise the presenter will not receive important information about the presentation.
• The right to publish your abstract is granted to the AFLAS 2023 Congress Organizing Committee.
• Presenting authors must register for the congress through the website by August 25, 2023.

Structure

• An acceptable structure of an abstract must consist of the following components:

  Background/Aim	A statement of the hypothesis or research question.
  Method	An explanation of the study design and experimental methods used.
  Result	A concise summary of the major findings of the experiment or study. Sufficient data must be provided to permit evaluation by the reviewers and public reading the abstract. Statements such as “the data will be discussed” are not acceptable.
  Conclusion	Summary of the overall findings and the importance of the study.

• Name(s) of presenting author and co-authors: First name(s) or initials of first name(s), family name (example: Sam Lee).
• Affiliation details of all authors: Department, institution/hospital, city and country. Affiliation(s) should be annotated by superscript numbers.

Notification of Acceptance

• All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee according to standard review procedures.
• Notification of acceptance will be sent by e-mail to corresponding and presenting authors by August 25, 2023.
• The detailed poster presentation schedule will be informed on the homepage of this congress by August 25, 2023.

Withdrawal of Abstracts

• The presenting author must register for the congress during the period of pre-registration.
• If the presenting author does not complete registering with full payment by August 25, 2023, the abstract will be withdrawn.
• Abstract withdrawal is allowed until the abstract deadline.
